US authorities now should answer wob-requests in due time - at least if they want to collect possible fees.

On LLRX, the US site for legal professionals, the latest changes of the US wob are being discussed.

These latest changes concern the answering time. Among them is one change saying, that if public authorities do not comply with the time limits, they can not assess search or duplication fees.

Last year's change dealt with the definition of new media and, importantly, opens for the option, that those, who request a document, can get a refund of their attorneys fees, if they win their case.
